OTT App AWS EC2 Setup
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a React Native OTT application with a Node.js backend and MongoDB at its core. As we gear up for launch on both Android and iOS, I need a hands-on AWS specialist to stand up the production environment on a memory-optimized EC2 instance.
Here’s what I’m looking for you to handle:
• Spin up and harden the memory-optimized EC2 server, including security groups, key management and automated OS patching.
• Install and configure Node.js so our API and streaming modules deploy cleanly, then expose the required ports for mobile traffic.
• Wire the instance to a MongoDB Atlas cluster, set up VPC peering (or an alternative secure connection), and confirm performance baselines.
• Configure HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate, set environment variables, and enable basic monitoring, logging and backups.
• Leave me with a short run-book (commands, IAM roles, diagrams if useful) so future updates or scale-outs follow the same pattern.
Success for me means the app builds in our existing CI, deploys to the new EC2 host, reaches MongoDB Atlas without a hitch, and streams video smoothly to devices on both operating systems.
If you’ve done similar OTT or high-throughput media projects on AWS, you’ll feel right at home here.
