Project Overview
We run a multi-site platform built with Node.js, React, and MongoDB (Customer site, Partner dashboard, Admin portal). We need a full-stack developer to fix a critical session bug and implement a few business guardrails.
Immediate Fixes & Features:
Fix Auto-Logout Bug: Customers log in fine, but attempting to book a service automatically terminates their session and kicks them out. We need this token/session persistence fixed.
Flat £4.99 Travel Fee: Lock a strict flat £4.99 travel fee on the backend checkout. No customer or partner can alter this. Add an input box in the Admin Portal so only the admin can change this database value global fee.
SMTP Password Recovery: Set up a live, real password reset flow using nodemailer linking to our server's secure .env file credentials.
Customer Instructions Box: Add a special instructions textarea at checkout, save it to the booking object, and show it cleanly in a panel on the Partner dashboard.
Mandatory Cleaning Rule Gate: Force a mandatory popup modal on the partner's next login. They must explicitly accept our "leave-no-trace" clean-up rule before they can access their dashboard or accept bookings.
Insurance Verification Gate: Add a mandatory Public Liability Insurance file upload to partner signup. Set accounts to pending_approval until an Admin reviews the file in the Admin portal and clicks approve.
