Node.js Code Fix & Enhancement
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I maintain a Node.js service that has started throwing sporadic errors and, at the same time, needs to handle a brand-new stream of data. I’m looking for someone who can dive into the existing JavaScript codebase, trace and eliminate the current bugs, then extend the logic so it cleanly processes the new dataset I will supply.
Right now the priority is two-fold: squash the defects that are breaking production and build out the “xử lý dữ liệu mới” feature so the app ingests, validates, and stores that data with the same reliability as the old flow. API hooks or UI tweaks are not required at this stage, but I may come back for those once this foundation is solid.
I use a standard stack—Node.js, Express, and a MongoDB backend—so familiarity with those tools, plus modern JavaScript patterns and Git, is essential. I’ll provide access to the repo and a short list of failing scenarios so you can reproduce the issues locally. Unit tests or another automated safeguard for the new data path will form part of the acceptance criteria; I want to be confident we don’t re-introduce the same bugs later.
Deliverables:
• Clean, error-free code committed via pull request
• New data-processing module fully integrated and covered by tests
• Short hand-off note outlining what changed and why
Let me know your estimated turnaround and any clarifying questions, and we can get started right away.
