MongoDB REST API Backend Development

The project revolves around building a production-ready backend whose core data store is MongoDB and whose endpoints follow standard REST conventions. All server-side logic, validation, and documentation must be delivered in a clean, deploy-ready codebase; the client-facing UI is handled elsewhere.

Deliverables
• MongoDB schema design and database configuration Node.js + Express.js.

• RESTful CRUD endpoints with pagination, filtering, and proper status codes
• Environment-based settings (.env) suitable for local, staging, and production use
• Automated tests covering critical paths
• Swagger / OpenAPI documentation that mirrors the final implementation

Acceptance criteria: every documented route responds exactly as specified, all tests pass, and the entire service stands up on the target cloud platform with a single deployment command.
