MID LEVEL - software engineer
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
Our team is extending a healthcare platform and I need an experienced mid-level engineer who can glide smoothly between a Node.js backend and a React interface. On the server side you’ll tackle new RESTful endpoints and refactor existing Express/NestJS services for scalability, clean architecture, and solid test coverage. Expect plenty of MongoDB work as well—optimising schemas, tightening indexes, and ensuring every query returns snappy, reliable results.
The web client is built in React, and that’s where your UI instincts come in. You will ship responsive, performant components, keep state predictable, and squeeze every last frame of speed from the browser. Though React is our daily driver, familiarity with Vue or Angular won’t hurt; it simply shows you can adapt if we ever pilot new front-end tech.
Deployment rides through Docker containers on AWS, stitched together by a Git-based CI/CD pipeline. Any insights you have on logging, monitoring, or squeezing extra performance from our infrastructure will be put to good use—especially when tracing elusive production bugs.
Security is non-negotiable. Everything you commit must align with secure coding practices, encryption at rest and in transit, and the data-protection standards you’d expect in modern healthcare software.
Deliverables (high-level)
• New and refactored Node.js services, fully tested
• React components and pages matching our Figma specs
• Updated Dockerfiles / pipeline scripts that ship code automatically to AWS
• Documentation and runbooks covering setup, endpoints, and monitoring hooks
All work will be peer-reviewed and merged through pull requests; clear commit messages and concise PR descriptions speed things along. If this mirrors the way you already work, we’ll get on brilliantly. Let me know your availability and how soon you can start pushing code to the repo.
