Inventory Data Entry (MongoDB)

I have a backlog of inventory details that must be added directly into our MongoDB database. All source information is already structured in a separate database export; the job is to review each record, confirm fields match our schema, and insert or update accordingly inside MongoDB.

Accuracy is critical because these items feed our live stock-tracking system. You’ll work with standard Mongo tools (Compass, shell, or your preferred GUI/CLI) and follow the naming conventions already in place for collections, indices, and field types.

Deliverables
• Cleanly entered or updated inventory records in the production MongoDB instance
• A brief log of changes (record counts, any anomalies spotted, and how they were resolved)
• Confirmation script or query output demonstrating that all records were committed successfully

I will provide database credentials, schema documentation, and the export file as soon as we start. If you have solid experience with MongoDB data entry or migration and can keep meticulous attention to detail, let’s get this wrapped up quickly.
