Our shopping site is already up on a React-Node-MongoDB stack; now I need an experienced developer to take it over the finish line. Your main focus will be sharpening functionality, with special attention to robust search and filtering so customers can locate products quickly and intuitively. While you’re in the codebase, I also expect you to hunt down lingering bugs, tighten performance, and give the interface a final polish so it feels modern and consistent across devices.
You will be working in a familiar environment—React (hooks, context or Redux), Express API, and MongoDB Atlas—so solid experience with that trio is essential. If you can blend in UI frameworks like Material-UI or Tailwind without bloating the bundle, even better.
Key deliverables
• Functional, fast search & filter logic tied cleanly to Mongo queries
• Resolved console and runtime errors across critical views (cart, checkout, profile)
• Lightweight visual improvements: spacing, color harmony, responsive tweaks
• A concise hand-over note summarizing changes and any future maintenance pointers
