AWS EC2 React-Node Deployment

I have a working React front-end and Node.js back-end that now need to go live on AWS. I’ve already chosen to deploy on an EC2 instance, so the task centers on spinning up, securing, and configuring that server for production traffic.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

• Provision and harden an EC2 instance (security groups, key pair, basic firewall rules).
• Install and configure all runtime dependencies for Node.js, then build and serve the React app so both front-end and API run smoothly together.
• Set up a MongoDB database, make sure it is reachable only by the application, and wire the connection string into the environment variables.
• Point my domain to the server and add SSL (Let’s Encrypt or similar) so everything runs over HTTPS.
• Hand over concise deployment notes or a bash script so I can reproduce the setup if I ever need to rebuild the machine.

If you have preferred tooling—PM2, Nginx, Docker, or anything else that fits EC2—feel free to suggest it as long as the final result is a stable, production-ready stack of React, Node.js, and MongoDB on AWS EC2.
