Structured Monday.com Task Workflow

Job ID: 40540524

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Our CEO needs a clear, top-down view of every action item issued to managers and their departments, all managed within Monday.com. I want a workflow that turns structured inputs into tasks, tracks their progress automatically, and keeps dependencies and reminders running in the background so nothing slips.

Here is what has to be in place:

• A Monday.com board (or connected set of boards if that proves cleaner) that captures each action item from assignment through completion, with columns for owner, department, priority, due date, and current status.
• Automations that send timely, automated reminders, roll up progress percentages for easy monitoring, and shift dates or alerts whenever task dependencies change.
• Dashboards that give the CEO an at-a-glance view of overall progress while letting managers drill down into their own departmental workload.
• A consistent data structure—templates, custom fields, and tags—so new tasks are entered the same way every time.
• A brief Loom walkthrough plus a concise reference sheet explaining how to add tasks, interpret the dashboards, and troubleshoot common questions.

Acceptance criteria
1. The workflow lives in my Monday.com account, pre-populated with sample data that demonstrates the complete CEO-to-department flow.
2. Reminders, progress tracking, and dependency logic all trigger correctly in a live test.
3. The CEO dashboard accurately reflects real-time status across departments.
4. Documentation is clear enough that a new manager can follow it without additional help.

If you have experience building robust Monday.com systems with automated reminders, progress roll-ups, and task dependencies, let me know how you would approach this build and any best-practice suggestions you might add.
