Monday.com Automation App Build
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
I want to extend my current monday.com workflow with a dedicated app whose single purpose is automation. The app must update an item’s Status column automatically according to time-based rules I configure, for example “7 days after Date column → change Status to ‘Overdue’.”
Scope
• Build a monday.com App using the official Apps Framework, GraphQL API, and webhooks where needed.
• Provide an automation recipe my team can add from the marketplace-style interface, letting us pick a board, the Status column to update, the Date/Timeline column that controls timing, and the exact status label to set.
• Support multiple time offsets (before / after a date as hours or days) and run reliably even on large boards.
• UI should feel native to monday.com, with simple dropdowns and validation.
• Package the app so it can be installed to our account and promoted to other workspaces later.
Acceptance criteria
1. Recipe appears under Automations and installs without errors.
2. Status changes trigger precisely at the scheduled time on a test board.
3. No interference with existing automations on the board.
4. Source code, build instructions, and brief user guide are delivered through a shared repo or zip.
