Custom Monday.com PM System
Budget: $50 – $0 AUD
I run a high-end joinery company in Sydney and I need a Monday.com expert to translate our end-to-end manufacturing and installation flow into a single, intuitive workspace.
Project structure
• A new job should create an item named automatically with the project address.
• Inside that job, every task must be viewable at both the Quoting and Drafting stages, switching views without duplicating data.
Task batching requirements
I have to be able to create custom categories, let Monday.com group items into batches automatically, and include tick boxes that confirm hardware and material orders have been placed. Once batched, the board needs to calculate planned versus actual dates using our quoted labour hours plus a “10 weeks from drawing approval” formula.
Manufacturing pipeline
The production board must move each batch through drafting, CNC, manufacture, spray / sprayshop and finally site, while displaying real-time progress.
Dedicated site board
Site activities need their own space covering delivery, kicks & structural work, cabinets install, stone install, exterior install and finishing items, yet still linked back to the parent batch for status roll-ups.
Deliverables
• Fully built Monday.com workspace with interconnected boards, dashboards and automations, with a Gantt or similar style timeline (interactive)
• All formulas, status columns and tick-box logic working and documented
• A short handover video or live walk-through so my team can maintain the system themselves
If you’ve implemented complex batching, date formulas or multi-stage manufacturing flows in Monday.com before, I’d love to see your approach.
