Slayer of Dream Island
Players-4-12 players must survive Dream Island, from the Slayer (Murderer who sabotaged their cruise ship). They will have the choice to be in the Dream Island Mansion or on the beach, but beware. They need to have a flashlight to fend off the curse that haunts the island and a smartphone to videotape their every move and capture video of the Slayer.
The storyline of the game is that 4-12 players are set on a cruise ship to sail around the world, but something goes wrong and the ship is beached on an uncharted, tropical island ( Dutchman’s island). The survivors ( and one slayer), must explore the island and go to the Dream Island Mansion to figure out a way to contact the outside world, but be careful. When it is nighttime, the flying Dutchman’s ghost patrols the island looking for victims and is only able to be hurt by light (Flashlight). Also, the slayer is the only one who is immune to the Flying Dutchman and can not be killed, hurt, or slowed down by him. The goal of the slayer is to slay everyone on the island, before they can put together a satellite phone and call for help. The goal of the survivors is to survive until help arrives.
Each player (who is a survivor), must learn to trust one another and band together until help arrives. Players can send secret messages to one another about who they think is the slayer, where flashlights are (not all will have batteries and players may need to go find batteries), and any other clues about the island that they feel like they should share with one another.
Players will also have the choice to post on the community board (which is a board that shows all players what the other player is saying to them).
There is no time limit for matches.
This game is meant for kids and or adults.
The financial goal of this game to make money from ad revenue, which means that an ad will play before and after the match.
This will be a free mobile gaming app for IOS and Android phones/IPads/tablets.
The slayer can kill other players by leading them outside to be killed by the flying Dutchman, stabbed with a poisonous knife, pushed off the edge of a balcony (but players can not fall off on their own), They can be shot with a lightning blaster. If you can think of something else, that is kid friendly, please let me know.
