We have a very complex food ordering app and dispatching system that we are having trouble fixing, we are looking for back end engineers who can help us over the next few months
, here's quick info on the tech stack:
Microservices
backend written in Kotlin with ktor framework
MongoDB as OLTP
Postgres as BI DB
Vue.JS web frontends
Flutter based customer App
Native Android Pilot App written in Kotlin As well
Backend is cloud native running inside Kubernetes cluster under GCP
Push on green CI/CD pipeline
we have been in 48-hour downtime now
and we are not sure what the main reason is
we have not had any change in code or deployment for over 2 months, and just 5 days ago, we had a system downtime, we can see there is more traffic on the pods, but from a business perspective we are not getting more orders, in fact, less.. so our main solution was to scale up our microservices
but we need resources to help us get access to our GCP, help us debug the issue, and solve it, whether it is scaling the pods or another fix
we need someone one to help us for an emergency fix NOW as well as long-term development later on.
