Movie Selection/Recommendation App
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
This application will work as a random movie name generator for an individual based on his daily mood and based on the preferences entered by user when signed up in the application. The app will have 2-3 screens.
Application function:
The user journeys start which creating their account using their email address or sign up using existing Google, Facebook, or Apple ID.
Once signed up user will be prompted to select certain tags like:
Favourite movie genre
Movie language preference
Favourite movie platform (Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Apple TV, HBO)
Once user have selected their favourite tags, they should have an option to navigate to 3 Tabs:
Tab1: This is the main screen with a Button or a Movie dice in the middle of screen, when u tap on it, it asks you your mood (happy, sad, normal) , it rolls and then selects a movie for you randomly depending up the mood you selected , it will search for that genre and recommend the movie . Once movie is recommended user will get 2 options (I’d Watch this movie) or (Suggest another). If user taps (I’d Watch this movie) this movie goes to Tab 3 under Movies Watched. If user selects (Suggest another), the app will continue suggesting movie to user.
Tab2: This is the second tab in the app, where in user can search any movie and look for its reviews, rating (like IMDB).
Tab 3: This Screen will show all the watched movies by user when selected (I’d Watch this movie) from Tab 1.
Once the movie is recommended to user it will be great to have an option to show on which platform this movie is available (Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Apple TV, HBO).
