Help with LinkedIn API login from mobile

We've set-up LinkedIn login with their API. What happens right now is when a user goes to sign-up with LinkedIn, we're directed to the LinkedIn app on the user's phone, instead of going to the sign-in credentials. Obviously this is a huge problem! Can you help?
