LOTE Online for Kids - Mobile App Brief v3
Framework: Xcode
Language: Swift
Background: LOTE Online for Kids is an online Web App platform of digital books to help libraries engage immigrant, refugee and multilingual families in their communities. The Web App platform is built and managed in WordPress. This platform has over 1,400 digital titles in 45+ languages, catering for children typically aged 3-10+ years. We currently have 170+ libraries subscribing to the platform, with Library Members typically using their unique library barcode number to access our platform.
We’ve recently created version 1 of a iOs Mobile App with Monash University, that provides a simple and effective version of the LOTE Online for Kids Web App. We are now seeking a professional developer to polish the Mobile App further and add new functionality, with the aim to launch the new Mobile App by April 2022.
Our requirements, and this brief, have been broken down into the following 5 parts.
Data Retrieval Framework
Libraries File and Authentication
Language and Stories Files
Story Views Reporting
Go-live in Apple App Store
Each part accounts for 20% of the project fee. Payment for each part requires user testing, sign off, documentation and handover.
See attachment for a more detailed brief.
