Employee Credit Card Receipt capture
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We need a Mobile Application written for employees who are using a company credit card for our small business. It’s fairly simple—it’s just to capture those receipts and send an email with a picture.
The process:
1. Employees with a company credit card open the App.
2. A menu asks them for an expense category (travel, maintenance, supplies, etc.)
3. After selected, the camera function comes up to take a picture of the receipt. If it is possible, using a “snap” function like in Microsoft Lens would be better than a simple picture, but not required.
4. After the picture is snapped, it is named (it’s good how Lens names the pictures by the date, but that is not required—any name is fine).
5. An email is then sent from the phone with the category and the name of the phone user in the subject line and the photo attached. It must be sent from a particular company address so that quickbooks will accept it (which is why the name of the person needs to be in the subject line--so the accountant can do a quick search and see everything any particular employee sent in.)
It needs to be able to work on Android or iOS. It's about 15 users. We use Microsoft Teams and 365, so not sure if the Power App is a good platform, no preferences as long as we don't have to license something expensive and it works smoothly.
