Building Multisport Logging Application and Website with Stats and other Multiple Features

Job ID: 33578694

By the time I'm writing you this letter, both Play Store and Apple Store have thousands if not millions of different applications. A beginner who wants to create something big might be demotivated by the fact that almost everything they have in their mind already exists in one of the stores. But there is one trick that anyone can use to gain thousands or millions of users to their app. This one thing is pretty simple but extremely useful - solve the problem, and if the problem is already solved, then solve it better than others.

An application that I'm trying to create does exactly the same thing I mentioned above. It is solving the problem for millions of people like athletes, coaches, gyms, and most importantly millions of those who want to improve. And here is how.

Gymmer (name of the app is subject to change) is an IOS/Android App as well as a website that helps you to keep track and improve your training sessions in any sporting activity. You might recall now that you saw something similar or maybe even have one of those apps installed on your device. Yes, there are currently around 200 apps available both on Play and Apple stores that do exactly the same thing. You might ask then what's the point to invent something that already exists? One of the main issues of those apps is the lack of combination of the following: simplicity, functionality, and flexibility in one app. Although Gymmer will follow all of these 3 points, it is not the only reason why this app will conquer the world by storm. Here are some of the features this app can offer to its users:

- Gymmer will allow users to "act as the developers" when choosing tools for measuring their training (for example: not every person does their training with sets per exercise, the user can choose in the settings menu any of the tools he/she uses during their training in order to avoid unnecessary buttons and create more personalized interface)
- Users can add videos or photos per every set, exercise, or training day so if needed users can compare their improvements with a form of exercise, or even with body composition over time
- By logging every performed exercise and all the related to its components (i.e. weight, sets, speed) users will get analyzed data with their improvements not only for bodyweight but also for every exercise every week, month, or any other selected period
- Coaches can create sub-profiles for their students to track their progress which will help them to motivate their students not only with fancy phrases from the internet but also with facts about their improvement in a graph format or any other selected option. Coaches also can track payments and add notes for every student which makes this app the only one they need to use both for tracking the training progress and payments
- Gymmer can be purchased by any gym not only to track payments of each client but also have the possibility to share with the client their improvement which will motivate them to come more
- Twitter-like news feed, with the possibility to share your workout in the Gymmer community. Users can also follow each other and see the stats that the other users decided to keep open for all

Can you imagine how many problems this app can solve only with these features? And what if I told you that this is only 30% of what Gymmer can offer to its users? It's just mindblowing that in the rise of the digital era there is still a thing that can offer solutions to a number of issues both in the amateur and professional sports industry.

Dear Freelancer Team, although we all try to be as perfect as possible - the world we are leaving in is not perfect, but I believe that Gymmer can bring a pinch of perfectness at least to the world of sporting activities. And if it can solve so many problems isn't it worth existing?

Appreciate your time!
