Abstract
BALLRZ is a platform that connects basketball players across the world. Users will be able to find teams, trainers and scrimmages, upload content and get general information about what’s going on in the basketball world and culture.
Features
Scrimmages – With the map feature, users will be able to post and find scrimmages to play. Clicking on a scrimmage will bring up information about where’s the scrimmage is as well as who’s running the scrimmage.
Dashboard/Feed – A page showing the latest news, posts and content from pages/users that the user is connected to.
Profile – The users profile will include a profile picture, a bio and an archetype (the type of player you are). In addition to this, there will be 3 other segments of the profile page – Details, Feed and Media. Details segment is a breakdown of the user’s home city, height and favourite player (more to be added in the future). Feed is where you will see all the content that a user has posted or shared. Lastly, Media is where all the content the user has uploaded will be stored. This is be especially beneficial for content creators or aspirational players wanting to upload game tape.
Directory – The directory will be where most of information will be stored. It will have the information of all the BBL teams, NBL, WNBL and local league teams. On each teams page, you can connect/follow to get information about games, trials and information as well as proximity to the user. The directory will also have information about trainers as well. The trainers page will provide details about where trainers based, contact details and more.
