The App is a buy now pay later application. It is considered a financial technology (Fintech) Application platform. The app (RENO) offers a buy now pay later for home improvements/energy efficiency/solar products. These products can vary from LED lighting, Rooftop solar, high-efficiency Air conditioners, Sinks.etc. Users can use RENO and finance installing home improvement products at zero- interest. Merchants (Who sell the product e.g. LED lighting) can use RENO and refer customers to it so that they will pay through RENO. RENO will pay the merchants in full for their products at the time of the purchase and debits the customer over time through payment installments.
Objective

The objective of the app (RENO) is to serve as a platform between merchants and homeowners whereby merchants can send referrals to homeowners and the app can finance the purchase. RENO will get a fee from merchants (% of the payment) for providing the service. It’s a win-win-win. Merchants will be glad to pay the fee for RENO because RENO will make it easier for them to sell more products. Homeowners are happy with the service because they can improve their home with smaller payments over time rather than a big payment at one time with zero interest. RENO is winning because it is getting a fee for providing this service for the customers.
