Subsequently, suggest ways to protect users from those threats from the perspectives of an app developer, the platforms and the end-user.
Therefore, we need a skilled security researcher who has the following qualifications:
- Profound knowledge in the Android OS (AOSP) for mobile (preferably up to Android 12)
- Experience with app publication process and app security best-practices.
- Is proficient at reverse engineering apps and SDK's
- Experience with pen-testing methods.
- Familiar with popular SDK and implementation styles (Analytics, payment, attribution, advertising and more)
- Experience contributing to research communities/efforts.
- Ability to design, execute and summarize research agenda.
- Presenting POC's when needed - big advantage.
