All in one Podcast App
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I would like to design and build an app that allows multiple people to connect to the app and record a podcast through their phones. The app allows for GarageBand type editing and flagging parts of the recording to immediately jump to certain topics for editing. I need an iPad, iPhone, and android app that allows all phones and iPads to connect to the app. The audio files can be uploaded to all streaming platforms. (Buzzsprout, Anchor, etc like platforms)
Here are some examples:
1) 3 guys meet up at a house to record a podcast. They use 1 iPad as the head host with the app and connect each individual phone via Invitation to the “room”.
Each has their own headphones connected to their phones to talk while it records on the app.
While recording, they start talking about politics and then switch topics to sports. Any of the guys can tap the flag button at anytime to mark where they switched topics and add any notes to the flag to help later on while editing.
After the podcast is finished recording, they can edit the audio to their liking with GarageBand type editing software.
They can then upload their audio files, descriptions, photos to all streaming services (Spotify, apple, pandora, Google, Amazon, Deezer, etc) with 1 click of a button. Check out www.buzzsprout.com for this type of service.
2) 3 guys are trying to podcast long distance. They can video stream on their phones with the app while recording. Needs to be flawless. Issues with zoom is that it sounds terrible and cuts out once someone starts talking. They can still flag different talking points whenever they want.
Each “room” is their “room”. They don’t need to create a new room each episode. One invite is all it takes for them to log on and start recording. They can invite guests and remove guests as well.
The app costs $10 a month for 3 hours a month. $18 for 6 hours and $25 for 12 hours.
The app generates an RSS feed for the podcast and gives them statistics (# of downloads, and locations) for their episodes.
