I have a new software application with both mobile and web versions that needs a thorough round of real-world testing before launch. I’m looking for someone who can install the mobile build, access the web front-end, use every major feature as an everyday user would, and then document anything that feels off—bugs, UI glitches, performance slowdowns, confusing flows, wording issues, crashes, you name it.
Here’s how I picture the engagement:
• You’ll receive the latest production candidate builds website
• Over the course of a few days, run through typical user journeys—account creation, login, data entry, settings, notifications, and any edge cases you can think of.
• Capture issues with clear reproduction steps, screenshots or screen recordings, and brief severity notes so the dev team can jump straight into fixing.
• Wrap up with a concise summary report highlighting critical blockers, nice-to-have improvements, and overall stability impressions.
I’m platform-agnostic on your side; if you can test on at least one modern mobile device plus a current desktop browser, that’s perfect. Familiarity with standard QA tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, TestRail, or even shared Google Sheets) will help streamline feedback, but what matters most is an eye for detail and honest, structured reporting.
