Test Mobile TV Control App

I need you to put our remote-control iOS app through its paces on a 2021-or-newer TCL television running Roku OS. You’ve confirmed that you own a compatible TCL Roku TV and have an iOS device with TestFlight, so you’re already set up on the hardware side. Even though you said you have no previous mobile-app testing experience, that’s okay—I’ll give you clear steps and a checklist so you can focus on careful observation.
Here’s the flow:
1. I’ll add your email to TestFlight so you can install our beta build.
2. Before you start on our app, please install and explore the competitor’s app linked below. Spend a few minutes getting familiar with its layout and note anything you like or find confusing:

3. Move on to our app and run a single 30–40 minute session. During that time:
• Press every available button in the interface.
• Observe how the TV responds and watch for lag, misfires, UI glitches, or crashes.

Deliverables I expect the same day:
• A concise report (Word, Google Doc, or PDF) that lists each issue you noticed, the exact steps to reproduce it, and a quick screenshot where helpful.
• A screen recording or camera video that captures the entire session—from opening the app to closing it—so I can see real-time interaction with the TV. Feel free to use your phone camera pointed at the TV or a split-screen recording solution.
• A brief overall impression: Was anything smoother or clunkier than in the competitor’s app?
