Remote Control iOS App Testing with TCL Roku OS TV
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have significant experience in mobile app testing and own a 2024-model TCL TV running Roku OS, so I know exactly what a smooth testing flow should look like. I’m looking for someone who can mirror that same level of care to validate our new remote-control app distributed through TestFlight on an Apple device.
Scope
• One focused 30–40 minute session.
• Install and explore the competitor app first (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/remote-control-for-tv-imote/id6477382010) to set a performance benchmark.
• Then install our TestFlight build—your email will be whitelisted in advance.
• Press every available button, note crashes, UI glitches, latency, or pairing hiccups.
• Capture the entire run on video, clearly showing phone-to-TV interaction.
Deliverables
1. A concise report (text or spreadsheet) listing each issue and including screenshots where relevant.
2. The full-length session recording.
You’ll need:
• A TCL TV (2024 or newer) with Roku OS.
• An Apple device that supports TestFlight.
If you meet those two hardware requirements, everything else should be straightforward. I’ll provide TestFlight access and a simple report template as soon as we agree.
