Cross-Platform Social App QA
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m preparing to launch a new social-networking product and need an experienced QA professional to pressure-test every feature on iOS, Android, and the web. The goal is simple: uncover anything that can crash, misbehave, confuse users, or under-perform before we hit the stores.
What the work involves
• Thorough functional sweeps of all user flows—sign-up, profile edits, messaging, media upload, notifications, in-app purchases, and settings.
• Usability observations that highlight friction points or unclear wording.
• Light performance checks (load times, memory spikes, battery drain) to flag areas that need optimisation.
Deliverables I expect
1. A structured test plan covering all three platforms, noting devices/OS versions you will use.
2. Clear, reproducible bug reports in my preferred tracker (Jira or a spreadsheet is fine) with steps, screenshots or short clips, expected vs. actual behaviour, and severity.
3. A concise summary at the end of each round outlining critical issues, quick wins, and any blockers for release.
Acceptance criteria
• No critical or high-severity defects remain open.
• All medium defects are documented with suggested work-arounds.
• The final report shows device, OS, browser coverage and test case completion rate.
