Overview:
We are seeking 3-5 experienced mobile app testers to participate in a closed beta testing phase for "FitTrack Pro," a comprehensive fitness tracking application. We need thorough testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and provide feedback before our official launch scheduled for December 2025.
What We Need:
Comprehensive testing of all app features and functionalities
Identification and documentation of bugs, glitches, and errors
Usability testing and user experience feedback
Performance testing (speed, responsiveness, battery drain, crashes)
Testing on both iOS (16+) and Android (10+) devices
Security and data handling verification for health data
Documentation of all findings with screenshots/screen recordings
Testing Scope:
User registration and login (email, Google, Apple Sign-In)
Activity tracking (running, cycling, walking, gym workouts)
GPS tracking and route mapping
Calorie counter and nutrition logging
Integration with wearables (Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin)
Social features (friend challenges, leaderboards)
Premium subscription payment flow
Push notifications
Data sync across devices
Profile customization and settings
Deliverables:
Detailed bug report with:
Bug description and title
Steps to reproduce
Expected vs actual behavior
Screenshots/videos demonstrating the issue
Device model, OS version, app version
Severity level (Critical, High, Medium, Low)
Usability feedback report covering navigation, UI/UX, and overall user flow
Performance notes (app speed, battery consumption, crashes)
Suggestions for improvements
Final testing summary document (submitted within 10 days)
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in mobile app testing
Access to either iPhone (iOS 16+) or Android phone (Android 10+), or both preferred
Familiarity with bug tracking and documentation
Experience testing fitness or health-related apps is a plus
Fitness enthusiast who understands typical user behavior
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written English communication skills
Ability to dedicate 2-3 hours daily for testing over the next 10 days
Must sign NDA before receiving access
Timeline:
10 days of intensive testing starting immediately after selection
Confidentiality:
This is a closed testing project. All testers must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before receiving access to the application. App details and findings must remain confidential until public launch.
