Budget: $30 – $250 USD
**Project Description:
Dark Pyre Interactive is in search of a skilled iOS Developer with a strong background in using command line tools for Xcode builds. We have a dedicated DevOps team that is implementing a Jenkins-based CI/CD pipeline, and we need specialized assistance to create and optimize build commands for Xcode projects. This is a key role that will involve formulating command-line instructions which our DevOps team will then integrate into our Jenkins automation system.
As a contracted iOS Developer, you will be tasked with creating a series of command line scripts that will be integrated into Jenkins to manage the build, archive, and export processes of our iOS application. Your role is crucial in streamlining our continuous integration and delivery pipeline, ensuring that our app development is efficient and scalable.
**Key Responsibilities:
-Develop command line scripts to set app version and build numbers in the Xcode project.
-Automate the process of building and archiving XCode projects using command line that will be integrated into Jenkins.
-Generate .ipa files through command line tools that can be readily distributed or uploaded to the App Store.
-Work with our DevOps team to integrate these scripts into our existing Jenkins pipeline.
-Provide clear documentation on the build process and command line scripts for future reference.
**Qualifications:
-Proven experience in iOS development with a solid understanding of the Xcode IDE and its command line tools.
-Experience with managing Apple Developer certificates and provisioning profiles.
**Project Deliverables:
-A set of tested and documented command line scripts for automating Xcode builds in Jenkins.
-Integration and configuration guidelines for these scripts within our Jenkins setup.
-A brief training session for our DevOps team on how to use and maintain the scripts.
**Contract Terms:
-This is a fixed-term, project-based contract with potential for extension based on project requirements and performance.
-The work will be carried out with regular updates/meetings with our DevOps team.
