We are looking for an experienced Mobile App Developer to build a high-quality mobile application that features a web-view of our existing UI along with several essential native capabilities. The app will primarily display our web-based user interface but must also include additional native functionalities to enhance user experience and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a mobile app embedding our web-view UI with smooth and responsive performance.
- Implement secure in-app storage for user credentials, including username, password, and server information, to enable automatic login.
- Enable reliable background notifications to keep users informed even when the app is not active.
- Integrate continuous background GPS tracking to feed real-time location coordinates to our API, ensuring accurate and seamless location updates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience developing mobile applications with web-view components (iOS and Android).
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with secure local storage solutions for sensitive user data.
- Experience implementing push notifications and handling background tasks in mobile apps.
- Familiarity with background location tracking best practices and efficient API integration for real-time data transmission.
- Ability to ensure app performance, security, and battery optimization when running background services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
- Knowledge of backend API communication and authentication flows.
