URGENT: SMART Goal Tracking Mobile App

Job ID: 38553627

Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR

# Vision

The app’s vision is to provide practical tools to improve family life. For example:

- Overcoming Challenges: This tool guides a child, accompanied by his/her parent, to discover how to use his/her strength to overcome a particular challenge by setting up a SMART goal.
- Conflict Resolution: This tool guides two family members, usually a child and his/her parent, to talk through a conflict and find a resolution.

The initial audience will be internal. However, in the future, we can sell a white-label version of this app to other institutions (e.g. schools, family therapists).

# Proof of Concept (POC)

The POC is not meant to be productized. It will be used in the following situation:

- We’ll interview our existing internal clients and ask them to try the POC while we observe on the side.
- After around one week, we’ll interview the same clients again to see whether they are able to overcome their challenges similar to the result they can get from a human coach.

There are two major objectives with the POC:

- Make sure the AI coach is able to provide a smooth experience for the entire flow and in various situations.
- Make sure both the parents and children can work well with the AI coach and the children are still able to overcome their stated challenges.

Here’s the conversation flow for the AI coach:

1. Only minimal registration is needed. One parent registers with his/her phone, and he/she can add one child to the account. The parent should accompany the child while using the app, although the child should be the one primarily talking to the AI coach.
- The AI coach’s tone should be warm, encouraging, and conversational.
- The AI coach should communicate through both voice and text. Consult the app “Sonia AI therapy” for reference.
- The communication should be three-way (i.e. parent-child-AI). During the voice interactions, the AI needs to distinguish whether it’s the parent talking or the child talking.
2. The child fills out a strength profile if he/she has not already filled out one.
- The strength profile is basically a list of strengths (e.g. intelligent, honest, flexible).
- For each strength, the child can specify yes, no, or half.
- After going through all the strengths, ask the child to count the number of strengths chosen, and ask how they feel about having so many strengths.
3. The child states a challenge that he/she wants to overcome (e.g. improve swimming).
4. The child selects from her/her list of strengths those that can help him/her overcome this challenge. The AI coach should ask the child how the chosen strengths help him/her in this situation.
5. The child comes up with a SMART goal with guidance from both the AI coach and the parent:
- S - Specific, including what and when (day and time).
- M - Measurable (yes/no).
- A - Achievable (confidence level from 0 - 10). Listen to the number, then ask why it’s not 0.
- R - Relevant (yes/no). Ask if it’s important or not.
- T - Time-bound. Ask when it can be completed. For the purpose of the POC, the due date should not exceed 1 to 2 weeks.
6. The child comes up with foreseeable obstacles and works out solutions to those obstacles.
7. The child comes up with a celebration activity that he/she can do after the goal is completed.
8. After the above flow is completed, the AI coach summarizes the entire session (i.e. challenge, strengths, SMART goal, obstacles/solutions, celebration activity) and saves it for tracking.

For achieving this, we will provide the apis/sdks to use. which are:
1) Speechmatics for speech to text and voice diarization(Separating parent and child's voice)
2) Elevenlabs: for text to speech conversation
3) Anthropic claude api for AI LLM.

We want the backend in node js and mobile app in react native. The deadline for completion of this app is 3-4 weeks max.
