I'm looking for an experienced Flutter developer to create a matchmaking app for trade events. The app's primary function is to connect event participants.
Key requirements include:
- Facilitating one-on-one meetings and networking chats.
- Providing a list of exhibitors.
- Filtering searches based on product categories, countries, and additional indexes.
Target Users:
• Buyers (institutional/government-level procurement agents)
• Sellers (international manufacturers and suppliers)
Core Features:
1-on-1 Meeting Scheduling System
• Users can request, accept, and manage meetings during trade shows.
• Calendar sync and push notifications for reminders.
2. Smart Matchmaking Engine
• Based on curated categories, profiles, and past interactions.
• Suggests relevant buyer-seller matches to optimize connections.
3. Digital Product Catalogs
• Sellers can upload product listings with specs, brochures, and contact info.
• Buyers can search and save relevant profiles.
4. Privacy & Compliance Controls
• Data access limited based on user role.
• Sensitive technical specs are shown only to verified institutional buyers.
5. In-app messaging once connection is accepted
6. Online purchase request for reports
Monetization Modules (to be included in roadmap):
• Freemium model: Free basic access to all users.
• Premium subscriptions for sellers:
• Opportunity monitoring ($20/month example)
• Custom reports on institutional buyer history
• Access to exclusive training and guides on Brazilian procurement
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficiency in Flutter development
- Experience with in-app messaging and scheduling features
- Background in event-related applications
Project Goals (Initial Phase):
• Build a functional prototype (MVP) with the above 4 core features.
• Ensure security and scalability.
• Design a clean, modern UI that reflects the seriousness and high standards of the defense industry.
Design Expectations:
• Clean, professional, B2B-oriented design
• Custom branding elements provided after hiring
• Support for dark/light mode appreciated
Tech Requirements:
• Flutter (preferred for iOS + Android)
• Firebase (or similar) for authentication, notifications, and database
• Backend: Node.js or similar (we are open to suggestions)
• Admin panel for curating content and approving accounts (optional in phase 1)
Future Scope (Not part of MVP but to be considered):
• Web version for desktop use
• Multi-language support (EN/PT)
• CRM integration
• Advanced analytics dashboard
Deliverables:

• Admin credentials
• APK & iOS build ready for internal testing
• User manual / onboarding guide
• 30-day support for bug fixes post-delivery
