Tracking device with comprehensive software

Job ID: 39208659

Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD

I need several prototypes of a small, durable, weatherproof (IP67+), and shock-resistant tracking device designed for power tools. The tracker should integrate with a web-based dashboard (with plans for a future mobile app) and support real-time tracking, notifications, and geofencing. Must be as small as possible while lasting as long as possible.

Key Features:

Tracking & Connectivity:
- Real-time GPS tracking with cloud storage.
- Interval location updates (every 30 mins) or hybrid tracking (Bluetooth + GPS) to conserve battery.
- Offline Mode: Store and sync data when reconnected.
- Apple & Android compatibility (web-based first, then mobile app).

Power & Battery Management:
- Ultra-low-power consumption or rechargeable battery model (minimum 1-week battery life per charge).
- Sleep mode and motion-based wake-up to extend battery life.
- Battery health monitoring with visual indicators and low-battery alerts.

Durability & Enclosure:
- Compact and lightweight (as small as possible).
- Rugged, dustproof, and waterproof (IP67 or higher).
- Shock-resistant to withstand job site conditions.

Sensors & Security:
- Accelerometer for motion detection and theft alerts.
- Tamper detection (if removed from the tool).
- Temperature & humidity sensor (optional, prevents overheating).
- Operating temperature range: -10°C to 60°C.

Software & Updates:
- Web-based dashboard for managing devices (naming, battery status, notifications, geofencing).
- Over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates if feasible.
