Skylight Simulation Mobile App Development
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 NZD
We are a skylight company based in New Zealand. We want to create a simple mobile app that helps customers see what a tube skylight would look like in their home.
The app should let users:
take a photo of their ceiling (or choose one from their phone gallery)
select the type of room or size of the space
based on the room, it recommends a tube size (we will provide this logic)
choose either a round or square diffuser
the app shows a realistic image of the diffuser placed on the ceiling in the photo
simulate soft daylight coming from the diffuser
option to save the image or send it to us for a quote (optional)
We will supply:
high-quality images of our diffusers (round and square)
sample photos of rooms and how light should look
tube size recommendations for each room type
The app should be easy to use and look clean. It needs to work on both Android and iPhone.
Please apply if you have experience building mobile apps that work with photos and overlays. If you have done something similar before, feel free to include a link or screenshot. We're happy to answer any questions and work together to make this simple idea come to life.
