Ropin' Ranch is a turn-based roleplay game centered around ranching. Our community is small but growing rapidly, and we have a dedicated user base. Players are given their own ranch to manage and develop as they see fit, starting with horses as their primary animals. As they progress, they can expand their ranch with different pastures and barns. Eventually players are able to unlock goats and soon we plan on adding cows as another level goal.
One of the key aspects of our game is the leveling and inventory system that provides players with a sense of progression and accomplishment. Users can compete with their horses to earn coins and moons. Moons play a crucial role as they allow players to age up their animals, adding depth to the gameplay experience. All horses in the game have real-life genetics and we have over 150+ base colors that the players can breed for. On top of this, we also have an extensive marking system.
To enhance the gaming experience and provide our community with more accessibility, we envision creating a dedicated mobile app for Ropin' Ranch. We believe this will open up new opportunities for engagement and attract a broader audience. Our ultimate goal is to release the app on the Google Play Store and the App Store, with future plans to port it to Steam.
As the development of the game's core functionalities is already in place, our focus for the app will primarily be on the visual aspects and integrating the existing scripts into a mobile-friendly interface. These scripts rely on AJAX calls, which handle various interactions such as purchasing items from the shop.
