Rive Character Animation System for Android (Jetpack Compose)

Job ID: 40500497

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I'm looking for an experienced Rive animator to create a production-ready character animation system for an Android application.

The character already has multiple visual expression states. The goal is to transform these assets into a clean, scalable Rive project with smooth transitions, natural idle behaviors, and a developer-friendly state machine architecture.

Requirements

Create a well-structured Rive project with organized artboards, animations, and state machines.
Build smooth transitions between multiple character expressions and reactions.
Add subtle idle animations such as breathing, blinking, and small body/head movement.
Create a lightweight talking animation that can be triggered programmatically.
Design a scalable state machine that supports future expansion.
Use clear naming conventions for artboards, animations, inputs, triggers, and layers.
Optimize for mobile performance and frequent state changes.

Android Integration Requirements

The animation system will be integrated into an Android application built with Jetpack Compose.

Please ensure the setup is:

Easy to integrate with the Android Rive runtime
Compatible with Jetpack Compose
Suitable for ViewModel-driven state updates
Structured around state-machine inputs and triggers
Lightweight and performant on mobile devices

Deliverables

Production-ready .riv file
Complete state machine setup
Source project files
Documentation for all inputs, triggers, and states
Android/Jetpack Compose integration notes
Developer handoff documentation

Assets

Character artwork and source assets will be provided after project kickoff.
