Restaurant Mobile Apps with backend

A restaurant app that allows for users to pick between two different restaurants to order from.
Customers can buy swipes on the app and get a discount for the more they buy for example: 5
for $50, 10 for $90, 20 for $170. (I will give you more information about this later when the
functionality is set up and I want to have the ability to change around numbers in the Admin
panel)
Users will place orders and can schedule orders for a later time, no later than 8 hours from the
time they would like to orders. After completing their order, users will be thanked and shown a
picture of where they can pick up their order (We can just upload a picture at a later time from
Admin panel)
About an hour after their pick up time, note the order scheduling for a later date, users will get a
notification saying “You’ve got a message from Crozet Pizza” and when they open the app
there’s a pop of message that says “We hope your food was everything you wanted and more”
Basic functionalities of the apps:
● The two restaurant features: I want both restaurants tabs to have a picture and title
underneath. One of the restaurants will have some added functionalities depending on
the time of the day. Basically, after 9pm the tab will become dark mode and there will be
some other tabs that show instead. Only a couple, so it’s not an issue. We can talk more
about this next week.
● Swipe system
● User login
● Encrypted Payment System
● Ordering and Scheduled ordering
● User profile
● Menu items, optional pictures, and prices (able to change through Admin Panel)
○ Ability to remove and add menu items or to note them as currently available or
coming soon
● Push notification system for announcements and any promotions that Admin might want
to send out
● Store information and contact sheet
○ An announcement section underneath that and whenever something gets added
there’s a little blue dot on the tab that prompts a user to open and read it
● I want the app to be compatible with Toast’s API for restaurant management. Here is a
link to Toast. The purpose for the integration is for order tickets to print. Don’t worry, you
don’t have to code the ticket printing, the toast API takes care of it as long as the data
gets sent to the toast API. I know it is easy and I have a meeting with them soon to see
what format they would want data on the backend side so it can integrate.
● I want users to be rewarded for engaging with the app. I want celebrations and
congratulatory things for when they sign up for the app, buy swipes, add things t their
cart, and place an order. It could be something small or big. You have creative freedom
with these.
● A QR code associated with a user. I’m not 100% sure about this, and have to think about
it more, but I wanted to send you it as you said to be detailed. We can discuss next
week.

2. Website - A website already exists, but if you need it to link both the android and IOS
app together let me know. Obviously I don’t want you to work on something that’s not
going to be used.
3. User Mobile Application - IOS & Android. It’s okay if android doesn’t have some of the
features like the dark mode for one of the restaurants I mentioned because I know IOS is
a lot easier. Please communicate with me if android development of that sort is out of
your skill scope.

5. Continued support through uploading the app to the app stores, publishing website(?),
Toast API integration so order tickets can be printed and toast runs analytics on orders
