We are a leading educational institution dedicated to providing technology-focused practice projects for North American students，with a presence in over 50 universities and student clubs.
We're seeking a seasoned Mobile Development Mentor to guide student teams through the process of building AI-themed mobile applications from the ground up.
Project Scope:
●Duration: Approximately 10-15 weeks per project cycle.
●Structure: Weekly remote meetings (1-1.5 hours per team) to provide technical guidance and troubleshoot development challenges.
●Outcome: Students will learn to develop, test, and prepare their apps for submission to the Apple Store and Google Play.
Mentor Role:
●Provide expert technical mentorship in mobile app development, focusing on iOS and Android.
●Lead students through the app development lifecycle, including UI/UX design, API integration, and scalability considerations.
●Oversee version control, project management, and task allocation, ensuring adherence to deadlines and project milestones.
Collaboration with UI/UX and Business Mentors:
●Each student team will also include a UI/UX mentor and a business mentor, facilitating a comprehensive approach to project development.
●The mobile development mentor will collaborate closely with these team members to ensure a cohesive project vision and integrate technical solutions with design and business strategies.
●Regular joint meetings will be scheduled to discuss project progress, align on goals, and address interdisciplinary challenges.
Technical Expertise Required:
●Proficient in mobile app development with a strong background in iOS and Android.
●Experience integrating AI APIs and working with large language models (e.g., GPT-4o, Claude-3.5).
●Minimum of 3 years in mobile application development, including a history of successful app launches.
●Competent in version control systems (Git) and project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, JIRA).
