Project Title: Redesign & Rebuild AlertBuddies Mobile App (iOS & Android)
Overview:
We are looking for a team to recreate our existing AlertBuddies app for iOS and Android, using native technologies (not cross-platform framework). The app is currently built with .NET MAUI, but we’ve found it lacking in responsiveness and modern UX.
About the App:
AlertBuddies is a personal safety app that lets users send SOS alerts and real-time updates to trusted contacts (buddies). It uses:
REST APIs (already developed)
MQTT for real-time messaging
Keycloak for authentication

What We Need:
Rebuild the same app in iOS and Android (no major changes to features or workflows)
Apply minor UI/UX improvements to make it more modern, responsive, and user-friendly
Maintain support for all current functionality (SOS alerts, location sharing, etc.)
Integrate existing REST APIs, MQTT, and Keycloak
Provide a fixed budget estimate based on this requirement
Once shortlisted, we will provide:
The full design document
API details and access
Support from our existing development team for clarification
Deliverables:
Fully functional iOS and Android app
Clean, maintainable source code
Basic documentation for deployment and testing
Source code should be committed to our GitHub account on a weekly basis for testing through:
iOS: TestFlight
Android: Play Store Internal Testing
Provide the cost in weekly iterations, specifying what will be developed each week and its cost
If there is a delay in delivering a weekly milestone, we may reduce the cost by 10% per delayed week
