We are growing so Land and Sea Software is seeking a talented React JS developer who possesses a deep understanding of React JS Contexts, Firebase Real Time Database, Google Cloud Platform and especially Google Firebase security to supplement our existing back end team. You will be responsible for adding navigation features, maintenance and updates to existing features and contributing input to the design of new features. Examples of the types of tasks you may be assigned are:
Building components to import and export content between Markdown embedded in JSON objects to .RTF, Word, pdf etc.
Automate our new user provisioning portal to send customized sign in credentials, password reset links and system messages
Integrate image management components to re-size images to make them suitable for display on mobile devices.
Reformatting user screens, layouts, colors etc.
Adding action buttons on a screen.
We propose to buy 40 hour blocks of time with the intention of purchasing multiple blocks of time from the suitable candidate. Each block of 40 hours will be accompanied by an agreed upon statement of work.
Candidates are asked to respond with their resume, examples of their work and their hourly rate. We will contact a short list of candidates for a detailed interview and a demonstration of our current offering.
In addition to technical skills, candidates must speak and write fluent English and be available during East Coast USA business hours. Our preferred communications methods are Slack and Jira
