React Native Mobile App bug fix / refactoring
Budget: €100 – €200 EUR
I am looking for a skilled React Native developer to help me out with some bug fixes and refactoring for a mobile app I developed. Specifically, I need performance improvements and some design updates. I know the area of code where the bug is located, but I'm not sure of its exact cause. I estimate that only a few lines of existing code will be affected by the refactoring. If you feel like you're the right person for this project, please reach out!
Vinewize is a mobile app frontend which uses firebase and mapbox to display collected information for agricultural purposes.
Our app in build has had challenges with code structure as well as a specific GPS bug using mapbox locations.
Main bug:
The application GPS does not always update. We have been in over 15 builds without having solved this problem.
The solution proposed should resolve this issue and likely incorporate a backup which uses both the google backend gps information as well as mapbox information.
Note that we have seen cases where the google maps GPS is correct but our app GPS points at a cell tower and not the actual phone gps location.
Refactoring and structure:
The previous code has many dependencies, vulnerabilities and build warnings.
I would like someone who is competent in building React native apps to see about fixing these.
CodeMagic:
I am interested if someone could help build all the supporting structures to build the app with codemagic for both android and apple to simplify distribution.
the app can be found for android here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vingineers.dev
Upon request for the app information a user name and password will be supplied for evaluations.
