React Native Mobile App Developer for Video Chat & Social Media App
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
Description:
We are Y-E-Soft Technologies, a dynamic tech company from Turkey, developing a social media app called ‘Harem’ focused on one-to-one video chat, similar to Azar with common social media functionalities. We are seeking a skilled React Native developer to help us bring our vision to life.
You will be implementing the design of the app using React Native. Backend rest endpoints will be provided by us, you will have a working real backend server that you will send requests to. In addition for video chatting purposes there will be a video chat server and associated component called JitsiMeet.
We have a working prototype that is loosely implemented. It will be provided as a starter project, but can be discarded.
Project needs to finish in 2-3 weeks.
Requirements:
Develop and test ‘Harem’ mobile application using React Native for both iOS and Android.
Implement features/pages for following:
video chatting, peer filtering etc.
user profile
real time messaging
friendship: adding, removing, blocking, sending requests etc.
in app purchase store (you might need to integrate with 3rd party in app purchase solution like RevenueCat)
gift animations at JitsiMeet screen
When updates are available we want to force the user to update
Customize the JitsiMeet component for video chat functionality, look and feel to be similar to Azar.
Ensure the app is performant, secure, and scalable.
Implement the prepared design exactly as specified.
As the development of the backend is still ongoing, collaborate with backend developers for backend related bugs and needs to implement frontend features
Collaborate with our team and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience with React Native.
Experience with state management solutions like redux, redux-toolkit.
Experience with social media app development and integration.
Ability to customize JitsiMeet components.
Basic understanding of WebRTC, just having some idea is enough.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in English.
Previous experience with video chat applications.
