React Native Developer for Wind Particle Animation Map POC -- 2

Job ID: 39528162

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

We are seeking an experienced React Native developer to help create a proof of concept (POC) for a simple map application featuring wind particle animations.

The project involves
- creating a fresh react native app with expo or vanilla react native
- a full screen map using a 3rd party library of your choosing (if you choose mapbox, use v10 not v11). The map should be full screen and interactive (e.g. scrolls, zooms, etc.)
- demonstrating wind particles on the map that showcase windspeed and direction. mapbox has a web example here, but I need help making this for react native https://docs.mapbox.com/mapbox-gl-js/example/raster-particle-layer/
- you can use hardcoded data for wind speed and direction, but ideally is saved in a flexible conventional format like a raster
- Ideally this is possible with javascript but can use native modules if that makes it viable and performant
- This is just a proof of concept, and we will focus on iOS only

The deliverable will be a github project that needs to run an iOS app on a simulator (and I prefer expo with a custom dev client as most map providers will not run on Expo Go).

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in React Native, Expo, and be familiar with animation libraries and know how to write native modules potentially. If you are passionate about building engaging mobile experiences, we would love to hear from you!

Budget is $200, timeline is 2-3 days. Please bids if you can meet these criteria.
Thank you.
