About the Project:
The HS AI App leverages AI and OCR technology to scan and analyze product ingredients, cross-checking against user-specific health restrictions and alerts stored from a doctor’s prescription. As a React Native Developer, you’ll be instrumental in creating a seamless, responsive mobile experience that ensures users can quickly scan and access personalized information on product safety based on their health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the mobile app using React Native, ensuring smooth functionality across iOS and Android.
- Implement OCR and AI-based features that scan product ingredient lists, integrate with stored health data, and display results with user-friendly visual elements.
- Work closely with the backend team to ensure seamless API integration and efficient data processing.
- Design intuitive user interfaces and ensure responsive design to enhance the user experience.
- Manage app state and enhance app performance using tools such as Redux and MobX.
- Conduct unit testing and assist with QA to ensure app stability and performance consistency.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect visual features.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with React Native, Redux, and related mobile development frameworks.
- Familiarity with integrating OCR libraries and AI/ML models into mobile applications.
- Experience with RESTful API integration and working with JSON data structures.
- Knowledge of basic mobile security practices and data handling in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Experience with Git for version control and familiarity with CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborative work with designers, developers, and project managers.
