React Native Developer – UI Adjustment + Simple Login (Open to Other Android Solutions)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are looking for a mobile app developer to help customize an existing open-source React Native project. The main goal is to:
Adjust the UI layout and styling
Add a basic login system
Allow users to view their own information after logging in
The app is intended only for Android use and will not be published to any app store — we just need an installable APK (or equivalent build).
Scope of Work:
? Frontend (React Native or Alternative):
Modify and clean up UI layout: spacing, font sizes, styling, button placement
Add login screen with username/password
Display user-specific information after login
Output must be a working APK (iOS support is optional, not required)
? Backend:
Simple backend for storing login credentials and user data
Only admin can add user credentials
Backend can be Firebase, Node.js, or any lightweight system

Basic user flow and layout requirements
Sample data structure (user list, info fields, etc.)
? Open to Other Solutions:
While the current codebase is React Native, we are also open to other solutions if you believe a more efficient approach (such as native Android development using Kotlin/Java) would better suit the project.
If you have a proposal that simplifies the workflow, improves performance, or reduces complexity — we’re happy to consider it.
? Ideal Candidate:
React Native or Android development experience
Can deliver working APK (no need to publish to app store)
Able to implement basic backend (or connect to Firebase)
Good communication skills, able to propose improvements
