React Native App Development - iOS dependency issue. App is Live on Google Play. Issues with iOS code.
Budget: $600 – $900 AUD
Overview:
We currently have an APP that is a React Native project designed to address emergency situations by providing users with a quick and intuitive way to call for help. The application features button action capabilities and integrates with the FLIC button using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology.
Issue:
A critical dependency within the project is the "react-native-flic2" package, responsible for facilitating the connection between the application and the FLIC button. While the setup works effectively on the React Native side, encountering errors specifically on the iOS platform poses a significant challenge. This issue stems from the necessity to configure the package within the app, particularly in Swift, the native language used for iOS app development.
Solution:
Resolving this issue requires the expertise of a skilled Swift developer to handle the
configuration intricacies associated with the "react-native-flic2" package on the iOS side. Once properly configured, the application will seamlessly integrate with the Flic button, ensuring reliable functionality and a smooth user experience during emergency situations.
This collaborative effort between React Native and Swift developers is essential to address the technical hurdles and ensure the successful implementation of our application across both Android and iOS platforms.
The app is live on the Google Play store, but there seems to be an issue with the iOS dependencys.
To make things easier for you, we can provide you with the react native code which is live Google Play, and you are to finish off the iOS version version of the APP. We seemed to have issues connecting FLIC2 with iOS for our code. We can provide you also with the current non working version of the iOS code that shows the errors when you try to compile the app with the FLIC2 library.
