Prototype: Build a Progressive Web App (PWA) with Check-In, Location Chat, User Profile, and Admin Dashboard using React and Google API

Job ID: 36759552

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

We are seeking an experienced developer to build a Prototype PWA for Function Testing with the following features using React and the Google API:

1. Admin Dashboard:
- Admin can set up events/venues for specific dates with starting time + end time
- Active and passive events: admin should be able to activate and deactivate events
- Events that are finished should automatically be deactivated
- Current or future events should be visible on the map (e.g. Google maps, etc.)
- Location data: For every location some detailed information should be visible on the map by clicking on the active location – e.g. description, rating, adress, opening hours, etc.; location data should requested by google api:
- Storage and management of own custom place information set by the admin in own database – visible on the map for user
- Transfer of data to certain external platforms (needs to be discussed later)

2. Location Check-In:
- Location Check-in should be activated for all locations which have active events (set up by admin)
Using Google API
- When user is entering a venue: Check-in should work automatically for all users (no manual activation)
- Push notification: if user is entering an active venue he should receive a push notification: „Welcome xxx “ and when leaving he should receive another custom push notification, e.g.: „Good bye!”
- Real-Time live positioning:
- Position of user‘s mobile device should always be visible on the map (Location background update is needed) open)
- PWA must access location information from the user at any time, even when user is not using the application
- Blue Dot: GPS functionality is needed to allow the app to always determine user's current location and display it on a map

3. User Profile section:
Users can display, edit, and update their personal information.
Each user should have a personal profile with information such as name, profile picture, and other relevant details.
Further details to the design needs to be discussed later.

4. Location Chat:
Users who have checked in at the same place and time should be able to get in contact with each other
They should be able to chat with each other fostering networking and information exchange
Predefinded text modules should facilitate communication
further details need to be discussed
