Description:

We operate a taxi app similar to Uber, allowing customers to select pick and drop locations using the Google Places API. However, the increasing costs associated with Google Places API calls have prompted us to explore optimization solutions.

Existing Solutions:

We've implemented a solution to store searched places in our database, reducing redundant Google Places API calls.
Usage of the Google Distance Matrix for estimating initial taxi service amounts has been causing a substantial number of calls (10 per booking). Now we have integrated Here api for distance matrix call to save some amount. But it is not a permanent solution.
Additional Solutions Needed:
We're seeking experienced professionals who can propose and implement further optimization strategies for both Google Places API and Distance Matrix calls.
Also we can check on direction api too.
