Modifications to flutter mobile app and codeigniter back-end
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
• This project involves adding some customizations to an application template from code canyon

– Flutter music streaming app + admin dashboard
• The app is deployed, but not published yet on Playstore or App Store
– The API and admin dashboard is coded using codeigniter and is deployed as a droplet on digital ocean
– Source code to flutter and admin /back-end will be provided
– Project will be split into 3 milestones, details for each milestone provided below.
• Updated souce code will be provided.
• The back-end code will be updated and deployed on existing digital ocean droplet
• ipa file (ios) and APK/app bundle (android) will be provided for publishing to App Store and Play Store.
Milestone 1
Minor modifications to flutter mobile app, integrate firebase mobile OTP and fix add username function
• Modify existing welcome screens (flutter) – icons/graphics provided as svg files
• Swap out existing email login/registration and logout processes with firebase mobile OTP. I can purchase a ready to use firebase OTP application to integrate from code canyon to make it easier https://codecanyon.net/item/otp-login-flutter-with-firebase-ready-to-use/36681211
• Tracks feed (flutter) – display newest tracks first (currently oldest show first). Possibly may require modification of API
• Minor styling changes such as the colour of a text box, renaming some text, improving layout of one screen
• Change app icon and notifications icon (new icons provided)
• Back-end (codeigniter). Music artist usernames cannot be added in capitals, e.g. if I add a username as GBRF it gets changed to Gbrf. I need it to stay as entered ie GBRF
• Back-end (codeigniter). When a new song is added, there is an option to send a broadcast (notification) to all app users. When no is selected, the notification is still sent. I need this fixed.
Milestone 2
Modifications to existing download song process and integrate submit form data API
• Flutter mobile app currently supports downloading songs from back-end. I want to extend the process before enabling download
o Only logged in users can download. User not logged in will be promoted to do so.
o Add new screen where user must select 1 of 3 usage options
o Capture some info from user using a form according to the usage option selected - form data is then sent to a 3rd party platform using an existing “Submit form data API” (documentation on how to use and integrate is provided)
o Once form data is submitted, allow the song to be downloaded (as per existing code) normal
• Minor styling changes to existing “downloads” screen
• Add button which also initiates one of the select usage forms
• Share is an existing function part of the menu – add new button which directly triggers existing share functionality (so it is more obvious to user)
• In the existing menu, add 2 more options
o How to credit – new screen, basic, no api – has a function to “copy” a paragraph of text
o Usage terms – clicking opens a web browser to a URL
Milestone 3
Existing code to add music artists should be copied and repurposed for adding partners
• The codeigniter and API currently supports adding music artists. These are displayed on the flutter mobile app. This code should be copied and repurposed so that there is identical functionality to add “partners” on back-end and displayed on the flutter app.
