Mobile app/cacheable version of dynamic website
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I am looking for a skilled developer to create a mobile app (doesn't have to be, and probably preferable that it isn't an actual app in the app store, but a mobile version of the site that uses javascript, progressive web development, service workers, etc.
The goal is to serve as a cacheable version of my dynamic website. We have a recipe/shopping website and we need to allow users to access some parts of the website without an internet connection (like when in the back of a large supermarket and cell signals are blocked.
The ideal candidate for this project should have experience in developing mobile websites for both iOS and Android platforms. They should also have a strong understanding of caching mechanisms and how to optimize website performance.
In terms of the cacheable version of the website, I would like it to use live data whenever possible, but still function without an internet connection. This means that the cache should be updated regularly to ensure the latest content is available to users.

No proposal will be accepted without demos that we can check out. If you have done work that isn't publicly available, but is available for you to show us via a shared desktop via Zoom or something, that is acceptable, and we'll schedule a meeting to discuss further.
