Mobile App Tester (Android + iPhone) for GPS-Based Mobile Application | Long-Term Contract -- 2

Job ID: 40485524

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

We need a sharp-eyed tester who can put our GPS-driven mobile app through its paces on both Android and iPhone. Your day-to-day work will revolve around functional, usability, and performance checks, all carried out in the field so we can see how the app behaves in real urban streets, quiet rural roads, and even tricky indoor spots where signal often drops.

The core of the assignment is to validate three critical features: location accuracy, continuous route tracking, and geo-fencing logic. Each release cycle I will supply a new build; you will install it on both devices, run predefined scenarios, then explore freely to uncover edge-case issues. Clear, reproducible feedback is essential so our dev team can act fast and verify fixes.

Deliverables (each build):
• Concise test report covering pass/fail results for all assigned cases
• Detailed bug tickets with steps, screenshots or screen recordings, and device logs
• A brief note on GPS behaviour in the three environments you covered that week

If you enjoy systematic testing, own at least one recent Android handset and one recent iPhone, and can commit to regular field sessions, let’s start with a pilot build and grow this into a long-term collaboration.
